Our third meeting was enlightening. Since the training is still on entrepreneurship, we talked about successful entrepreneurs in Kenya who started small, taking advantage of the ecosystem, they twisted it to suit their business growth needs. The most inspiring story was for a Kenyan mogul called Chris Kirubi, who is likely the most popular business magnate in Kenya with investments in various sectors. The entrepreneur grew up in an impoverished home and lost his parents at a young age but still managed to build a massive business empire. Every youth shared the kind of business they would like to venture into and the kind of entrepreneurs they would be if they get the opportunity to become one after completing school.

We can’t call it a day without a dance session. This is always the part of the meeting since almost everyone in the program like dancing plus our dance choreographer is one of the best. We had a thrilling dance session and we were all excited to learn new dancing styles. Indeed, dance is the hidden language of the soul.
